Feed Me and Tell Me I'm Pretty - Cranberry Glazed Appetizer Meatballs

It's hump day and you know what that means-It's time for Feed Me & Tell Me I'm Pretty. Last week I shared my Basic Bitch Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe. (3 ingredients and the result is delish, I swear.)

With the Holidays right in our faces, I thought it would be a great time to share an appetizer. Nobody wants a hangry guest at their party. So let's talk meatballs, shall we?

Nope. Wrong meatball. But I do love me some Snooki.

Cranberry-Glazed Appetizer Meatballs

Ingredients:

Meatballs:

1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Sauce:

1
bottle (12 oz) Heinz chili sauce (1 1/2 cups)
1/2
can (16-oz size) jellied cranberry sauce (1 cup)

Prepare:
  • 1Heat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, stir meatball ingredients until well mixed. Shape into 1-inch balls; place in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • 2Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center.
  • 3Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, stir sauce ingredients until well blended. Heat to boiling over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4Add meatballs to sauce; stir to coat. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated. Thread cranberries on toothpicks; stick toothpicks in meatballs to serve.
  • *This recipe yields 30 servings. You can also find this recipe on Pillsbury.com.
